Hello and welcome to my new post filled with some favourites of the week! I will share general bits and pieces from photography, art, buildings, architects, videos graphics and even ‘just for fun’ items.
To kick it off here is the first lot of favourites for this week! With the new term ahead there does seem to be an underlying theme of being inspired!
Favourite Model
Saw this model on Allied Works Architecture and thought it was a beautiful model and one to inspire us students out there for the next year of uni ahead! Will definitely be using the workshop this year to try and produce a thing of beauty similar to this!
Favourite Drawing
I stubbled upon this drawing on Pinterest and after doing a bit of research found it was a fellow university student from London. All of the drawings within his portfolio are breathtaking but overall make you think about the drawing. Check out his work!
I watched this video at the beginning of the summer and generally felt inspired about this idea about ‘architecture for the people, by the people’; carried on from my first year specialisation of International Architectural Regeneration and Development (IARD) at Oxford Brookes University. Is it a good concept though?
Just for Fun
Saw this and thought it was natures way of 3D printing! There are loads more to flick through too!
